Makeup Essentials for Beginners
As a girl, I have always loved makeup. If you are a beginner, it’s really hard, because you don’t know what products to use, which product to use for a different part of your face. I am here to help you out, and to show you the basics of this art.
Foundation
It’s really pretty to have a flawless face. If you don’t want to put that much stuff on your face, you can always use a BB cream or a CC cream, because they are not that heavy as a regular foundation. A really good BB cream is the Maybelline one, and a good foundation is from Too Faced, Born This Way.
Mascara
Mascara just makes your eyes pop out! If you don’t want to put eyeliner or eye shadow, you can always put some mascara and it’ll be so pretty! Make your lashes longer and fuller with two coats of mascara for both eyes.

Concealer
This is more important than the actual foundation! You can council your dark circles or any other spot on your face. You can even use it as an eye shadow base or as a highlighter for your under eyes area, cheeks or chin.

Blush
The right shade will make you look like you’re blushing, not like you’re wearing blush. For a natural look, start with lighter shades, and skip any with shimmer. Use a blush brush to swipe a small amount of color across the apples of your cheeks (the round section that sticks out when you smile). If you can see clearly where the blush begins or ends, you’ve used too much or the color is too dark.
Highlighter
A slightly shimmery cream highlighter has many uses — from lifting your brows to slimming your nose to sculpting your cheeks. Choose a soft nude, peach, or pink for the most versatility.
Most women have the same exact problem: a cosmetic bag that’s overflowing, but no clue exactly what to do with all the products. That’s when it’s time to take a back-to-basics approach. I really hope that now you know what are the essentials, and you can start using them with no problem!
